OTI-Asia supplies Quality Chinese Made Parts to the mining

and engineering sectors at a fraction of the 'genuine' parts.

Our purpose is to find suppliers in China who are manufacturing to meet Western Standards, and we have representatives who frequently inspected the facilities and products of a number of Chinese companies manufacturing equipment and spares for the mining industry. In 2010 we have travelled to China on two occasions with the specific purpose of inspecting what is being made and how it is being made; and we have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the parts and equipment that some of the manufacturers are producing. A lot of these suppliers are already exporting, to the US, South America and Africa, but they are frustrated by the suspicions of Western customers who are still not comfortable with merchandise and equipment made in China.

We can understand the scepticism of many customers; we have worked in China and we know what was being produced in China ten or twelve years ago did not meet International Standards, but fortunately those days are fast disappearing. Between us we have over 60 years of experience in the mining industry and we understand the needs and requirements of both the maintenance fitter and the construction manager, having served in both roles within the industry and we understand the frustration of installing poor parts and the cost associated in doing so. We will work to assure that what you buy out of China will meet any test and the service life of the components you buy will be as good if not better than the part it will be replacing.

Substandard produced parts and equipment are still being made in China; we know we’ve seen the dubious copies, but there are now many Chinese manufacturers who are producing parts and spares that meet World Standards and more importantly meet your expectations, and OTI-Asia knows where these suppliers are and we will ensure that you buy from a reputable supplier at a price you will be pleased with.

OTI-Asia has set up an office and warehouse in Savannakhet, which is central to our Chinese suppliers and our customers in SE Asia. Setting up a facility in Savannakhet allows us to hold stock possibly on a consignment basis, thus reducing lead time and in setting up in The PDR of Lao enables us to keep our overheads low.
